The service at this hostel was lifesaving! I was taking a group to Sydney and we previously experienced a booking issue with another hostel. Eleni from Glebe Terraces not only offered us some rooms, she bent over backwards to accommodate us at the last minute. Obviously we got lucky they had the spare rooms but what made our stay and interaction amazing was that the people at Glebe Terraces were supportive of our needs and welcoming. Service was great and the location is excellent! Yes, it is an older location and while the place needs a little TLC, it was serviceable and inexpensive. We will definitely be using Glebe Terraces again in the future because of how hospitable everyone was and how they worked really hard to support our needs as a large group.

Love this place. Beautiful wholesome vibes, service, location and hospitality. Less like a hostel and more like a community. Owners are great at navigating the complexities of humans living together too. Worth the stay 💜

I enjoyed staying here. The room was clean, basic and suited me as I was only there to sleep and shower. I love the proximity to where my meetings were, grocery and the cafes! I felt safe even walking home late at night. I would stay there again!

Awesome place, bus straight across the road, light rail 5 minutes walk. Bathrooms are modern, rooms a clean with a really cool style and vibe, stained glass windows, ornate staircase. Kitchen facilities always clean as well. The reception staff are super friendly and helpful. And the possums in the garden at night are pretty cool too.
